Last March 2nd we completed 4 years and the amount of things we learned in this period was absurd. We really admire how companies like Moz , Groove and Buffer shared their progress, successes and setbacks. We love consuming this type of content and learning more about how these companies are growing and evolving, always maintaining transparency. Thinking about that, we decided to take a slightly risky attitude and get out of the comfort zone a little: we decided to expose a little more and share our challenges and a little of the story of how we managed to reach R$20 million in annual recurring revenue in December of 2016.
If you like the content, please share it and be Bahamas WhatsApp Number sure to commentsend us your ideas and questions. We would love for more startup founders to be inspired by this content and tell their stories and challenges too! We wrote this text in several hands ( Diego , Edmar , Matt and Peçanha ) and we tried to tell the first changes and events that we experienced in recent years. The publication came out a little late, we know that well, but if you want to know one of our stories and the challenges we had at Rock Content to scale, here are some good Insights.

A little of the context: 2013-2014 Rock Content was actually born in 2013, from a pivot of 2 startups that were having traction difficulties. On the one hand, Diego and Ed were skating to develop an SEO software focused on the American market called EverWrite. On the other hand, Peçanha was at Startup Chile with a project called TextCorner, a Marketplace for freelance writers. Neither company was doing very well, and both we and our angel investors ( Manoel Lemos and Luciano Tavares ) were worried. We joined forces, but, with companies without much cash, the situation was still difficult. We decided to pivot and try to start over. We created a simple goal: we decided that we would have 100 clients in 2013 or we would close the doors.
